About Your Dive Charter
Join The Scuba Dive Shop for a private boat charter exploring two fantastic dive locations along the Mornington Peninsula.
Our charter is reserved exclusively for our divers, allowing us to select the dive sites and provide a coordinated diving experience.
Customers can book either dive individually or enjoy both dives as a complete double-dive experience.

Dive 1 – The Grotto
The Grotto is a picturesque reef dive on top of the Lonsdale Wall system in Victoria’s Port Phillip Bay. Named for its small caves and sweeping overhangs, the site offers fascinating rocky formations and abundant marine life. Look out for Southern Blue Devils, cuttlefish, colourful nudibranchs and crayfish, with the occasional Port Jackson shark resting beneath a ledge. Accessible by boat, it’s a wonderful spot for underwater photography and discovering the bay’s temperate marine life.

Dive 2 – South Channel Fort
South Channel Fort offers a fascinating boat dive around a historic artificial island in Victoria’s Port Phillip Bay. Descending to around 12 metres, its rocky slopes, seagrass beds and jetty pylons provide a thriving habitat for marine life. Look out for cuttlefish, octopuses, Southern Blue Devils and smooth stingrays among the boulders, colourful sponges and soft corals. With plenty of crevices to investigate, it’s a rewarding spot for underwater photographers and divers who enjoy discovering the bay’s smaller marine residents.
