About the Course
The Scuba Doctor Australia Dry Suit Diver course consists of Two Sections:
1. eLearning Independent Study
Time Commitment: 2-4 hours
The eLearning Independent Study option covers the cost of self-study materials and online verification that you have completed the theory requirements.
PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Complete the independent study part of your course whenever, wherever it's convenient for you. Work at your own pace, online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor for in-water training, or whenever you have a question.
2. Practical Session at The Dive Shop & In-Water Session
Time Commitment: 5-8 hours
What you will learn:
How to get in and out of a dry suit with minimal assistance;
Buoyancy control using your dry suit;
How much weight you need and where;
Dry suit safety procedures;
How to avoid and escape feet-first buoyant ascents;
How to maintain your dry suit (with proper care, some dry suits can last 10 years or more).
